Experience & Qualifications
Industry Training Services (ITS), has a highly skilled and motivated team of professionals.
Each team member has extensive trade experience in the hospitality industry. Added to this, is proven aptitude in the teaching and development of training programs.
All Trainers hold a minimum Certificate IV (40110) in Training and Workplace Assessment, plus 5 to 10 years supervisory/managerial level experience.
Damien has 25 years experience in the hospitality industry in QLD and NSW. For a number of years in the chain restaurant environment at District manager level. He also has owned his own successful restaurant in Brisbane and acted in a consultant role in that time. Damien has a Bachelor of Business (Hospitality Management) and Graduate Certificate in Business Administration. For the last 7 years he has been the Director of ITS, being able to merge industry experience with the Training Industry.
Training and Administration
Louise has extensive industry experience with Sizzler Restaurants, Coles Hotels and prior to that worked in retail in a training capacity.
Louise does a lot of the corporate training for ITS for clients such as Coles. She also trains regularly in RSA and assists in the office administration.
Trevor has been with ITS Bar Skills for over 5 years. He has had his own cafes, been employed as a manager with Collins Foods and worked extensively in the Club industry as well as trained for various other Training organizations. Trevor conducts training in the North Brisbane area and as well as delivering our Bar Skills course also is our primary trainer for RMLV (Responsible Management of a Licensed Venue) as well as delivering of tailor made courses specific for different establishments. Trevor has his AHRP accreditation and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Mathew joined ITS in early 2014 and has extensive experience in restaurants and 5 Star operations such as the Heritage Hotel Brisbane.
He has owned his own French restaurant and does training for other training organisations in the Brisbane area.
Mathew holds a Cert IV TAE as well as a Diploma in Restaurant, Cafe and Bar Operations in Holland.
